Isolation of K2S2O3 from the Effluent of Desulfurization Using Potassium Carbonate Under Vacuum Conditions

چکیده

In the process of desulfurization, will produce a lot of the desulfurization liquid, desulphurization waste liquid containing high concentrations of salt, has the very good use value. If direct emissions will not only damage to the environment, but also wastes resources The reduction of the pollution resulting from desulfurization was studied. Rotary evaporator was employed to simulate vacuum concentrator and to treat the effluent after desulfurization with potassium carbonate under vacuum conditions. We followed the “fractional crystallization” method to desulfurize and decyanate the effluent, viz, “filtration – evaporation – crystallization – filtration – evaporation crystallization” recovery process. The resulting mixture of salts was separated with ethanol and water. Under optimum conditions, the recovery of K2S2O3 was 81% and the purity was over 90%.
